Asthma is a common chronic disease affecting about 300 million people worldwide. The many typical symptoms of asthma include wheezing, coughing, chest tightness and shortness of breath.

Most people participating in the study continued their asthma medication while taking the help of yoga. The entire procedure went on for two weeks where study authors observed the effect o yoga on participants. The team of Cochrane researchers wanted to find out the effects of yoga in people with asthma.
"Yoga is good for asthma. As long as you’re looking after your asthma well and your symptoms are under control, you can enjoy any type of yoga exercise, whether you choose yoga diet, go for a brisk walk every day or join an exercise class. Taking part in regular exercise can also help reduce asthma symptoms by improving how well your lungs work."
It was found that yoga reduces the effect of yoga and improves the quality of life by a significant amount. The effect of yoga varied from participant to participant but the it had a positive effect on every asthmatic person.

Yogic food helps to strengthen the immune system and brings lightness of the body. As per the Indian scripture diets are classified into three categories "Sattvic, Rajasic and Tamasic. Sattvic diet is mostly light and easy to digest food which has the quality to supply nutrition to the body. Rajasic diet is neither heavy nor light and has less beneficial qualities for the body and mind. Tamasic diet contains heavy meals and are not easy to digest it may be harmful for body and mind.

Un-cooked food, half boiled vegetable, fruits, salads, sprouts, healthy breakfast, average lunch and light dinner.
