CHANDIGARH: Chandigarh Deputy Commissioner Ajit Balaji Joshi held a review meeting of all the core team members today during which the concerned creative team members made brief presentations on Social Media plans, outdoor awareness programmes and print/electronic media campaigns.
The Deputy Commissioner said that public can start online registrations for the 2nd International Yoga day scheduled to be held on June 21, from May 17. He said that mobile app and link for registration will be made operational on Tuesday onwards.
During the meeting discussed and finalized that different online competitions will be organized i.e. Seilfee competition, competition of yoga postures and Yoga Anthem etc. and cash prizes would be given to the winners.
He said that Youtube channel will be created and documentary videos/slide shows of the training sessions in different 200 locations will be uploaded in addition to promotional videos, interviews and yoga footages of participating citizens. Interaction with the public, live feeds, promotion of yoga slogans, promotion of yoga photos and videos will be done through facebook page, he added.
He said that people can share their live videos through snap chat and can view yoga related content and small clips on Instagram. In addition to that video clips of Yoga postures etc. will be displayed in city cinemas.
He further said that yoga training will be imparted to special sections of society i.e. blind children, handicapped and mentally challenged persons from May 21 in their institutes. He further said that participation of UT employees including employees working in Punjab and Haryana offices will be ensured on June 21.
